What AiM does for you
If you have been asking why your car insurance went up when nothing about your driving changed, the answer is usually a quiet renewal increase, not a new risk. We strip carrier markup, not coverage.
Wondering whether you can switch car insurance mid-policy? You can, and the unused premium is refunded pro rata. Run the numbers first on our savings calculator, or read the rate-negotiation guides we write for drivers.
If it is the renewal itself you are trying to understand, start with why your insurance renewal went up when nothing changed. And before you send anything, how to read a car insurance declarations page covers the one document we price you from, field by field, and the declarations page checklist is the printable version to work through against your own.
Doing it yourself first is a perfectly good plan: car insurance discounts worth asking for by name is the list to read down the phone, and how to switch car insurance without a coverage gap is the order to do it in if you decide to move.

Geico, Progressive, State Farm, Allstate, Liberty Mutual and 45 more. We benchmark them all on your exact risk profile.

Liability limits, deductibles, comprehensive, collision. Every line stays. We negotiate price, not safety.

Renegotiate with your current carrier or move. Either way we prepare the paperwork and coordinate effective dates so you are never uninsured.

Carriers raise rates quietly at renewal. The premium we negotiate is yours with no second fee -- and when next year's renewal notice lands, send it over and we run the whole benchmark again.

Why does this matter?
Carriers re-price at renewal, and the new premium arrives with no working shown — no comparison to what the same carrier would quote you today as a new applicant, and none to what a competitor would charge. Accepting it is the one decision in the policy nobody checks, which is exactly why it is where the money sits.
Put your own numbers in the premium calculator to see where you land before you talk to anyone.
Pricing
Our pricing is built around the savings we deliver. You only pay when you benefit, and the terms are the same on every page of this site.
No savings, no fee
No retainer, no consultation fee, nothing to cancel.
Success-based
Charged once, on what we actually save you in year one.
New-policy placement
Only where there is no existing premium to negotiate against — a first car, a newly closed home, a newly bought boat.
25% of first-year savings · $149 flat fee for new-policy placement · $0 if we find no savings
How it works
From your declarations page to a side-by-side comparison sitting in your inbox. We do the work; you decide what to do with the savings.
Step 01
Send the form, then reply to the confirmation email with your current declarations page, the 1-page renewal summary. Five minutes, no card.
Step 02
Our team prices your exact risk profile against every major auto carrier. Same coverage, lower rate.
Step 03
We email a 1-page side-by-side comparison of what you pay now against what the market will write it for.
Step 04
Stay and renegotiate, or move. You sign; we prepare the forms, line up the dates and chase the refund.
Ready when you are
Trusted by drivers
Auto premiums climb at every renewal. Most drivers never notice. Households across the USA and Canada hand us the renewal notice instead and let AiM re-price the policy before they sign it.

Frequently asked
Our average is $1,247+ a year per negotiated policy. That is an average, not a forecast for your policy: what you save depends on your carrier, your state, your record and how long the premium has gone unchallenged. Multi-car households have more lines to work with, so there is usually more to find, but we will not put a number on yours before we have read your declarations page. If there is nothing to save, we tell you that and you owe nothing.
No. We take the market result back to your current carrier first, because retention departments usually discount rather than lose a policy. If another carrier genuinely beats them on identical coverage, we show you both prices side by side and you decide. If a move genuinely wins we prepare the forms, coordinate effective dates so you are never uninsured, and guide the cancellation. Nothing changes without your approval.
Nothing upfront. If we find no savings you owe nothing. When we do save you money we keep 25% of the first-year savings, and a flat $149 applies only where there is no existing premium to negotiate against -- a first car, a newly closed home, a newly bought vessel with no cover yet.
Just your current declarations page (the 1-page summary your carrier sends every renewal), your driver's license number, and a list of vehicles and drivers on the policy. Five minutes of your time, zero credit card.
A review is a one-time engagement, not a subscription. We re-price the policy you hold now, and the premium we negotiate is yours for as long as you keep the policy -- there is no second fee for year two. When your next renewal notice arrives, send it over and we run the whole thing again: a fresh engagement on the same terms, and free again if we cannot beat the price you already have.
